Singapore launches center to combat cybercrime, boost information sharing

Central Bank Monetary Authority of Singapore and U.S.-based Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center Inc. have launched a new center in Singapore to combat cybercrime and increase cyber information sharing among 49 financial institutions in nine countries, Channel NewsAsia reported. The countries include Australia, India, Japan and South Korea. The Asia Pacific Regional Analysis Centre plans to provide round the clock local and global coverage with threat information sharing, actionable intelligence, and tools and resources to respond to cyber threats.
